Conversion Experience

I was saved through the student recruitment ministry at Iloilo Baptist College. My brother, Euide, preached at a service, and I received Christ as my Saviour in March 1999.

Calling and Preparation

After I got saved, I enrolled at Iloilo Baptist College through a follow-up ministry. In spite of much persecution and other problems, I graduated on March 19, 2003. During college, I became burdened for the province of Antique. God led me to start a pioneer work in one of the villages near Antique. People in this village are doing nothing, and they do not know anything about Christ.

The Field  

While surveying many villages, I saw a lot of people who have no hope. There were many drunk men and women seemingly fighting over nothing in particular.

There wasn’t one Baptist church, and nobody knew one thing about the Word of God. I began to witness door to door and finally, one family received Christ as their Saviour. They are faithfully attending our church services.

I was able to start seven Bible studies going house to house, and we all gather in one place for our Sunday meetings. By the grace of God, we currently have 125 men, women, and children attending services.
